So here we go, only 357 days till the Athletes again leave from Senobe Beach on Lake Banook, at one of the greatest swim venues in all long-distance triathlon, to start EPIC Dartmouth 2013.
It assists our planning tremendously to have Athletes signed up early. It reduces our costs and improves designs, helping us provide an even better value race at the same entry fee in 2013, and that is our singular goal with this race – to provide the ‘Best Value Long-Distance Triathlon in the World’.
To encourage early sign ups, we are introducing our new program called “‘Thirteen Months of EPIC’.
Each month from now till race day, we will draw from all athletes registered at that point to win an ‘EPIC’ prize from the world of Triathlon.
If you are in early, you have Thirteen chances to win some piece of gotta-have-it-gear that will arrive on your doorstep to help with your training and racing throughout the year.
How easy is that? Does any other race you are considering for 2013 offer this benefit?
We will announce additional EPIC partners as they come on board, and we will have a complete section dedicated to these folks on our website soon. For now, we are pleased to announce now first two partners: New Balance (July 15th), contributing your choice of any FOUR pairs of their running shoes, and Polar (on July 30th) with a complete RCX5 package, including GPS, HR, and Bike Sensors (both these prize packs are worth double the race entry fees!).
Draws will be held at the end of each month, with an ‘Earlybird’ draw on July 15th, then an extra draw for Christmas (because everyone likes presents!).
