CanaDream Athlete’s Village

November 7, 2011Print Friendly and PDF

Many people have been asking where to stay when they arrive for the race.  We’ll have the hotel information up soon, and we plan a home stay option as well, but wanted to post this one right away:  In conjunction with CanaDream RV Rentals and Shubie Campground, we will have an Athlete’s Village on the run portion of the race course!

Bring your own RV, bring a friend’s RV, or if you are flying in, rent an RV from CanaDream (their Atlantic Canada depot is also on the run course only a kilometre away).  Take advantage of our beautiful location to bring your whole family or a group of friends.  You can get a shuttle from the airport to CanaDream’s location to pick up your RV, or if you prefer they can have your RV already set up on your location in the CanaDream Athlete’s Village when you arrive.

There are about 30 RV spots along this hill, and the run course will pass though this area twice for the EPIC distance and four times for the IRON distance – a perfect location for your family to enjoy their vacation and cheer you on as you compete in this Epic event!

You’ll can locate the CanaDream Athlete’s Village on our EPIC Dartmouth Course Maps on Google Maps, and here is an overhead shot of the location:

More information will be posted soon, but if you’re considering reserving a RV for next summer, do so before the end of the year, tell them you are with EPIC Dartmouth, and they’ll throw in some great incentives including the option of free mileage to let you and your family head up to Cape Breton or tour the province while you are here.
